It is with deepest sadness we announce the sudden passing of Rose.
Rose was born in Opasatika ON. She married Fernand Nolet on May 18, 1963. They had 4 children together, 3 sons Paul, Roland and Pierre and 1 daughter Ghislaine. Rose and Fernand moved to Ignace ON in 1974.
Rose held several jobs in Ignace over the years; she ended her working career at Ignace Public School. Rose loved her gardening, picking blueberries with her husband and going for walks. She enjoyed her exercise class once a week and going for extra-long walks. When the weather got cold, she would walk in the school hallways doing one and half to two miles daily. Over the past several years she loved helping at the Ignace Silver Tops. She enjoyed helping at their Thursday luncheons. Rose was very proud of her grandchildren; she would always have lunch ready for them every day while they were in school. She was a great cook and it didn’t matter when or the time, she would always cook up something special. Rose cherished her precious time playing and visiting with her great grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her husband Fernand, her children Paul, Ghislaine (Dale) and Pierre, her grandchildren Natasha, Natalie (Zach) Nathan, Kimberly, Andrew and Dylan, great grandchildren Isabelle, Bentley, Cadence, Kegan, Connor and Chad, sister Yvette and brothers Lucien, Albert and Paul.
Rose was predeceased by her son Roland, her great grand-daughter Lily and her brothers Wilfred, Ernest, Adrien and André.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 23rd, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Alan Campeau officiating. Interment will follow in the Ignace Cemetery. Visitation will take place Sunday at 5:00 p.m. with prayers to be recited at 6:00 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
