Ronald will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters; Lillian Larson, Mervin Ainslie, Malcolm Ainslie, Evelyn Malyk (George), Corine Malyk, June and Alex Rosky, Marlene Schnarr (Ray), Tim Ainslie, sister-in-law Dorothy Ainslie, his extended family; Guy, Patti, Michelle, Matthew and Alexa Gallaway, Gail, Colin, Michael and Andrew Campbell, Ron, Denise, Justin and Stephanie Gallaway, and many nieces and nephews. Ronald will also be missed by his faithful canine friend Alfie. Ronald was predeceased by his wife Lorraine, son Mervin, an infant daughter and brothers Jackie and Doug. Ronald moved to Dryden in 1958 from Nipigon to be a scaler with the Dryden Paper Company. He soon left the bush for the mill where he became a millwright. Ronald loved hunting and fishing, camping and RVing (especially on the Alaska highway) and his many hours in his workshop making wooden toys for his grandchildren and fishing tackle for family and friends. He was also very proud to be in the Fellowship for many years. Ronald’s number one interest was his family, they will cherish the memories of him as the hockey grampa and of the beautiful roses he gave at the dance recitals. A memorial service celebrating the life of Ronald Ainslie will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Luke’s Anglican Church with Rev Jody Miles & Rev. Bruce Miles officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
