The Red Lake Miners have added some experience in preparation for a new Superior International Junior Hockey League season.
The Miners have acquired Frank Zhong from the Timmins Rock of the Northern Ontario league.
Zhong played in 49-games with Timmins and Wayway in Manitoba last year and amassed 2-goals, 11-assists and 96-penalty minutes.
The 20-year-old from Surrey, B.C. also played with Fort Frances in 2016-2017, where he collected 6-points and 17-penalty minutes.
