An Ignace man has been fined $4,800 for possessing an over-limit of walleye.
Court heard that conservation officers executed a search warrant on July 26th as part of an ongoing moose investigation.
During the search for moose meat, officers found packages of frozen fish in a freezer.
Most of the fish were skinned and packaged in a way in which they couldn't be easily counted.
Finally it was determined that Lee Baldwin was in possession of 24 walleye over his legal limit.
Baldwin has been banned from fishing for four years.
