CIBC is out with the results of a new survey of Canadian businessmen and women.
It finds 8 in 10 claim their financial situation is the same or better since they quit working for someone else and made the move to self-employment.
The trade-off is almost half of these entrepreneurs report working longer hours and having higher stress levels.
However, the survey finds 9 out of 10 say that even with these factors, they are satisfied with their personal quality of life.
