The PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise has received provincial funding to once again launch its regional loans and grants program.
Melissa Cook says they are now accepting applications for socially conscious business proposals.
The initiative is aimed at spurring economic growth and new businesses in area communities.
Since June of 2017, at least ten regional business programs have received funding.
The program provides $58,000 in loan funds and $46,000 in grant funds.
Cook says the social component of the program is what makes it a success.
