Young skaters from across the region will be in Dryden this weekend for the Sunset Regional Figure Skating competition.
This is the first time in years the Dryden Skating Club has been able to host the event.
Karen and Brianne Kudlacek joined Janice Radburn on the CKDR Morning Show Tuesday to talk about the competition.
13-year-old Brianne Kudlacek has been with the Dryden Skating Club for five years and she says it will be great to skate at home in front of family and friends.
The event is open to the public and admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and youth.
You will also have an opportunity to win a trip for two to wherever Bearskin Airlines flies.
The competition starts Friday and wraps up Sunday.
