Provincial Police say they have identified the remains of a human body found along Highway 17, about 10-kilometres west of Vermilion Bay.
The man has been identified as 55-year-old Donald Bonner from Port Coquitlam, B.C.
Bonner had signed himself out from a Psychiatric Institude June 8, 2008 and had not been seen since He was the subject of Canada-wide warrant.
The results follow a post-mortem exam in Toronto.
The remains were found April 16th by a Ministry of Natural Resources fire crew.
OPP say foul play is not suspected, but they are continuing to look into the cause of death.
