Kenora-Rainy River MP Bob Nault says something needs to be done to deal with flooding in Northwestern Ontario, which is starting to become a yearly tradition.
Nault has asked Municipal leaders in the region to begin a process that looks at existing weather patterns and try and determine what may lie ahead in the future.
The Indian Affairs Minister is asking Federal, Provincial and American agencies to take part in the process.
Nault says the expertise of everyone involved will help determine what course of action Northwestern Ontario should take to combat flooding.
