Dryden Police are reporting an incident where a man tried to flee on foot after being stopped in a vehicle.
Police say on Thursday at around 1:10pm they stopped a vehicle on Mary Avenue for a traffic related offence.
Police then say as the vehicle pulled over, the man jumped out of the vehicle and fled from police.
Dryden Police say at one point the accused ran into a house where the owner let police in, but the accused ran again after that.
Police then say a few minutes later they arrested the man near First Street.
Dryden Police say 35-year-old Keith Andrew Abraham faces Driving while Prohibited, Flight from Police and Failing to Comply with Recognizance charges as well as numerous offences under the Highway Traffic Act.
He is awaiting a bail hearing today in Sioux Lookout and police say no injuries were reported during the incident.
