The disappearance of a man, who has ties to northwestern Ontario, has brought up nothing but questions and agony for his family.
Dusten McMillan, who lived in Red Lake and Kenora, was last seen leaving an Edmonton, Alberta Remand Centre on September 30th, 2010.
Dusten hasn't been seen or heard from since and he's posted nothing on Facebook and nothing has come up on Google searches.
Cousin Justine Blanco says Dusten told family and friends that he was planning to return to Kenora.
Blanco is now making a plea to local residents for help.
Blanco says Edmonton Police have launched their own investigation, but she's urging the public to call Crime Stoppers or visit their Facebook page if you have any information on his whereabouts.
His family says Dusten hasn't made the best choices over the years but stress they fear for his safety and hope to see him alive.
Blanco believes someone out there knows something about Dusten and his travel plans or location.
Dusten McMillan was 23-years-old when he disappeared.
