A local group called "Horseshoe Connections" is talking about the benefits of learning with horses.
Speaking to the Dryden Rotary Club on Wednesday, Senior Facilitator Joyce Gardner talked about the Equine-assisted learning programs they have.
Gardner says they initiatives centre around women and youth that are aimed at reducing stress, building confidence and learning more about yourself.
She says the programs are 12 weeks long and run from anywhere from April to September.
Gardner says they are currently looking to build a safe indoor facility for their learning programs as their scheduling is at the mercy of the weather.
