With another school year closing, the Keewaytinook Okimakinak School Board is out promoting its healthy partnership with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
The KO board is based out of Fort Severn First Nation, with an office in Cochenour and it serves several First Nations communities.
Director Darrin Potter says with help from the public school board, they have been able to introduce new technology in its classrooms, including chromebooks.
Potter adds the KPDSB has been helping them move forward in a non-intrusive way.
He adds First Nations chiefs have been appreciative of the Public School Board and understanding the needs of Indigenous students.
