The Dryden Regional Health Centre has reached its $1-million goal to secure a new CT Scan Unit.
Chief Executive Officer Wade Petranik is thanking the entire community and surrounding area for their support and their patience during the important campaign.
Petranik says they have about $625,000 in cash that they have already received through donations, as well as another $375,000 in pledges that they will be receiving in the next couple of years.
The new machine is expected to be installed and on-line by the end of the month.
Petranik says businesses, individuals, service clubs and a countless number of volunteers who hosted events and fundraisers were instrumental in making their dream a reality.
He adds reaching their goal will now free up fundraising opportunities for other important causes in our community.
