The Ontario government is teaming up with the Rick Hanson Foundation to introduce an Accessibility Certification program.
Minister for Seniors and Accessibility Raymond Cho says 250 public facilities around the province will be reviewed to start.
Cho says the program is expected to start this Fall and will be fully rolled out over the next two years in select communities across Ontario.
The government is providing $1.3-million to roll out the initiative.
Rick Hanson says they want to ensure every public facility in Ontario is fully accessible.
