The CNIB eye van is making a return trip to northwestern Ontario this summer.
The mobile unit will be making stops in Ear Falls, Red Lake, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Pickle Lake and Ignace.
Manager Lisa O'Bonsawin says the eye van includes specialists who provide certain services and minor procedures to patients who are referred by their optometrist or doctor.
O'Bonsawin adds support from groups like the Lions, health professionals and volunteers have allowed them to bring the eye van out to communities for the past 44-years.
She adds they've also formed a strong partnership with local diabetes education programs to offer support to those in need.
Here is the local schedule for the CNIB eye van.

Red Lake: July 25-28 and August 2-5
Dryden: August 8-10
