Tis the season to stuff yourself but before you chow down on seasonal favourites like turkey and stuffing, Health Canada has some holiday food tips.
If you plan on cooking a turkey make sure it’s cooked to 85-degrees Celsius.
Spokesperson Andre Jean says stuffing should be made separately.
Jean adds the best way to check your food is with a digital thermometer.
When it comes to holiday leftovers, you should refrigerate them A-S-A-P.
If perishable food has been left out for more than two hours it will go bad.
