The President of Confederation College says they had no choice but to shelve three programs.
Jim Madder says for the Child and Youth Care and Civil Engineering Technology programs, there simply aren’t enough students signing up.
He also says the Power Engineering program is a different story as they have enough students signing up, but not enough work placements are out there for students to complete their education.
Madder says students in the first or second year of these programs will be able to finish their studies.
