It will be a big day in Red Lake on Saturday as Norseman Festival activities kick into high gear.
The Provincial Police are hosting their Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run as well as Polar Plunge.
Sergeant Kelly Hall was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Thursday and she says all money raised will support the Special Olympics.
Hall says this is the 50th Anniversary of the Special Olympics and the 1km or 5km walk or run is their major fundraiser.
Hall says the organization provides sports and social opportunities for more than 20,000 people with intellectual disabilities in Ontario and police are proud to support them.
Anyone can take part in the walk, run and plunge and you will also get the chance to pie an OPP officer in the face.
Donations will be accepted on site.
The Torch Run starts at 12:30 on Saturday.
