With so much debate around hydro costs, a company is giving you a breakdown of exactly what you do pay.

EnPowered has come up with an on-line tool to better explain the numbers.

Owner Tomas Van Stee says it aims to shows the real cost of electricity.

He says electricity in Ontario is actually very cheap at 2 cents per kilowatt hour, but its the global adjustment cost that makes up a bulk of one's bill.

In northwestern Ontario, the tool shows 70-percent of an average residential bill going to such things as global adjustment costs.

These are not set by your local utility company.
