The City of Dryden is taking major strides to make the community more accessible.
A new long-term plan has been approved by Council and it addresses physical, communication, environmental and technical barriers.
Colleen Brosseau says the document sets out goals up until 2021.
Strategies include elevator upgrades, the installation of a new Pool lift and wider doors at the Pool and Recreation Centre.
The plan also targets City owned property and services including Taxis and Handi-Transit.
Brosseau stresses they are always looking to improve accessibility.
