No one was injured after an OPP police cruiser was struck on the side of the road near the Ontario-Manitoba boundary.
Provincial Police say an officer was investigating an abandoned vehicle on the side of Highway 17 Tuesday night around 6 o’clock.
While the officer was inside his cruiser, with the cars lights fully activated, an east bound pick-up truck failed to move over and side-swiped the parked police car.
Both vehicles sustained minor damages.
OPP say a 72-year-old Kenora man received a provincial offences notice for failing to move into another lane for an emergency vehicle.
