The compensation of Hydro One’s top executives is raising eyebrows at Queen’s Park.
Information released shows the utilities’ top five executives received a combined total of over $11-million last year.
President and Chief Executive Officer Mayo Schmidt was paid nearly $4.5-million.
PC Energy Critic Todd Smith calls it a slap in the face given the tens of thousands of Hydro One customers who were disconnected last year as well as soaring hydro rates.
