The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is reminding residents about their adult education resources.
Principal for Adult Education Lynn McAughey says it is never too late to graduate.
McAughey also says secondary education is different for adults.
“High school for adults is very different than their memory of secondary school. And when we think about programs for adults, we’re thinking about things that meet our adult learner needs, so we can be very flexible and responsive,” she says.
She also says people usually think they are farther away from graduating than they actually are and they should come in to see what they can do.
McAughey mentions dual-credit programs as well which earns participants both high school and college credits.
