Fort Frances Lakers newcomer goalie Nathan Park shutout the English River Miners 5-0 Thursday evening in a match-up at Ear Falls Arena.
After a scoreless opening session, Fort Frances struck four times in a span just four minutes to take control of the contest.
Colton Spicer got the visitors going with his 12th of the season, which was followed by a shorthanded effort a minute and a half later by Mason Meyer.
The Lakers added to their lead courtesy of Carter Chorney while Marco Romano added another.
Matt Vela then capped things off for Fort Frances in the final frame as the league-leaders won for the 21st time in 2014-15.
Park stopped all 24 shots fired his way is his SIJHL debut.
Greg Harney saw 32 shots in a losing cause for the Miners.
