In loving memory of James Edward “Jimmy” Hughes who was born on January 11, 1951 and who passed away on September 21, 2017.
Jimmy loved to spend time with his family and he especially enjoyed visiting and watching movies with his sister Linda; a Sunday afternoon tradition made even better if the movie starred his favourite actor, John Wayne.
He will be missed from the Community Living “Wednesday Night Guys Night” where there would be a friendly game of poker or perhaps a game of darts. Jimmy always looked forward to the Friday Night Group Suppers and the fellowship there.
He will be truly missed by family and friends and by all who knew him.
Jimmy is survived by his sister Linda MacDonald of Dryden, ON, brother Art Hughes of Flin Flon, MB, sister Donna Hughes (Bruno DeNicola) of Mississauga, ON, and brother Randy Hughes of Winnipeg, MB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, great nieces and great nephews as well as his many friends and the caring staff at Community Living Dryden.
Jimmy was predeceased by his parents Norman and Yvonne Hughes, by three brothers, Jerry Hughes, Dave Hughes, and Bill Hughes, by two brothers in law, Norman MacDonald and Gordon Bouzane, by his nephew Leon Hughes, and by his niece Teri-Lynn Olinik.
There will be a private family service in Barwick, ON, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and if friends so desire, donations may be made to Community Living Dryden through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Avenue, Dryden, ON P8N 2X3
