The Dryden Ice Dogs put up a good fight at the Dog Pound but still fell 2-1 to the Fort William First Nations North Stars for their 6th straight loss. The Ice Dogs hopes of a first place finish will need a lot of help as they fell 5 points behind the league leading North Stars with the Stars holding 3 games in hand. Dryden has 6 games left in the regular season including 4 games against the Borderland Thunder and 2 more against the North Stars in Thunder Bay at the end of the month
