The Dryden Ice Dogs are fading fast in the race for first place in the SIJHL after a 6-1 loss to the North Stars at home Friday night. The Ice Dogs have now dropped 5 straight including two in a row at home. The first place Stars lead the Ice Dogs by 3 points with three games in hand while Dryden has only 7 games left in the regualr season. The Stars and Dogs will wrap up their two game set Saturday night at the Dog Pound. It’s the last time the Stars will visit Dryden in the regular season.
