Blankets are for children and adults use at residential fires and vehicle collisions area wide.
Accepting the 16 donated purple blankets are, Captain Reagan Breeze and Firefighter Ryan Daubney of the Dryden Fire Service.
The blankets are a comfort to children and adults in a time of personal crisis at their home, or when involved in a vehicle collision and can help reduce the symptoms of shock that sets in, at any traumatic event that occurs.

The black bear finally decides to make his move. The bear hops into the trap, stayed in the trap for about a minute then ran out of the trap bait in mouth. The bear returned again to check out the trap, but the lack of bait disinterested this clever bear. (August 31, 2010)
Apparently this bear wasn't so concerned with the warning placed on the bear trap. The bear stalked the trap for about an hour and a half Tuesday morning. (August 31, 2010)
