Dryden defeated Thunder Bay 2-1 in a shootout.

Another group of singers qualify for the semi-finals in the $3,000 Karaoke Contest, every Friday night at the Royal Canadian Legion. Advancing to the semi-finals are: Richard Habinski, Lisa Haessler, Hollie Fielder, Shane Girardin, and Lyanne Dowswell (missing from photo).
This herd of deer saves travel time by cutting across the Wabigoon River, heading into downtown Dryden. Just out for a little Sunday afternoon stroll before the sun sets.

Atikokan Mayor Dennis Brown reacts to news that Atikokan Renewable Fuels has accepted one of the Province's first new wood supply offers.
It will provide 179,000 cubic metres per year of poplar and
birch fibre from area forests.
