Playing At Cinema 86

Icy highways caused delays on highway 17 in Dryden, in front of Green Acres Trailer Park when this truck jackknifed and plowed through the ditch. It came to a stop between a hydro pole, a backhoe, and a house. There did not appear to be any injuries, two occupants of the truck were seen walking around, awaiting tow trucks.

The rider came out of this with a couple of bruises - all part of the day at the UCMA Sno-X event this past weekend in Dryden (video capture - see videos section)

CKDR Morning Guy - Richard McCarthy sports his new Dryden Dolphins toque and shows off his stroke after welcoming the Dolphins to the CKDR morning show. The Dolphins held their Swimathon. Collectively, the club swam 2 354 laps which is the equivalent of 58 850 m or 58.85 km - wow! The club would like to thank the home community for their tremendous support! Just over $2500 was raised in total! – with approximately $250 going to the Dryden Youth Centre on behalf the Dryden Dolphins Masters Swimmers!
