Chief Rod Winnepetonga of Wunnumin Lake First Nation issued this statement today about the fire on May 8th that killed a 1-year-old, a 6-year-old and a 21-year-old, all females. " The community and the leadership are distraught and shocked over the sudden tragedy that took these young lives." The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Ontario fire Marshal.
