The Dryden Ice Dogs are getting ready for Sports Day in Canada on Saturday as they host the Wisconsin Wilderness. The Dogs are hoping for a sell-out crowd in order to get on CBC. Kids, create a Sports Day in Canada Poster, and you can get in for only $2.

A glimpse of the expanded retail area of Egli's Sheep Farm. This new addition is approximately 2500 square feet. The total retail shop floor area is now over 4500 square feet! Amazing! CKDR was there for the official grand re-opening that featured merchandise discounts, draws, cake, refreshments, hay rides, and free admission to the animal park. It was a great day! (September 10th)

Colton VanBastelaere of Wabigoon has been selected by an independent jury to receive a Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada $2000 Scholarship. Stephen Boon, CEP National Representative and George Smith, CEP Local 324 President, present Colton with a cheque.
VanBastelaere will be attending the Automotive program at Confederation College this Fall.
The criteria to select winners are academic achievements and a 2000 word essay on “What the labour movement means to me?”
