Sioux Lookout Men O Ya Win Health Centre has a new CT Scan Unit - over 1.79 million raised, including over half a million from Wasaya Group, and 235 thousand by Riley Barkman and friends who walked from Sachigo First Nation to Sioux Lookout (700km) on the ice roads last winter.
Riley Barkman from Sachigo Lake First Nation spearheaded a group of young men who walked from Sachigo to Sioux Lookout last winter and raised the final 243 thousand dollars for the CT Scan Project (Nov 5)

It was the "Dad and Daughter Morning Show" on Wednesday during "Take Our Kids To Work" day on November 2nd. THE GIVE BACK Project has been started by two very caring hair stylists, Courtney McArthur and Lee-Anne Ryan at ImagesToo Hair Salon.

Dozens of Dryden High School students, including Jessica, turned out for the blood donor clinic at DHS this week (Oct 31 - Nov 1). The little badge says it all "First Time Donor." Congratulations to our civic minded students!
This home at 69 Davis in Dryden was heavily damaged by fire earlier this year. Today (Nov 1), a wrecking crew made short work of what had been a family home. (staff)
