Domtar Regional Public Affairs Manager Bonny Skene presents a $25,000 donation to Dryden Regional Health Centre CEO Wade Petranik and Foundation Chair Tom Ledoux.
The donation will go towards the Room Reno Project; one of our four bed inpatient rooms will be completely redone as a result of this support.

What a showing for Dryden Girls Hockey teams at the Stars Cup in Winnipeg!
Dryden Minor Hockey came home with 4 medals out of a possible 5.
The Midget team went undefeated and beat the Red Lake Rams in a thriller in the championship game 3-2.
The Flames also went underdeafeted and won gold in the Novice category with a 2-1 win over the Kenora Flames.
The Sunset Granite Bantam Snipers took home silver after dropping a 1-0 decision to the Thunder Bay Queen's.
The Ricci Trucking Timberwolves also came in second with a 1-0 loss to Hamitoa Birtle.
The Girls T&C Salvage Icebergs had a competitive showing in the Atom division as the youngers got a taste of hockey against some of the best and finished with an 0-3-1 record.

A happy Scott McEwan is flanked by members of the Vermilion Bay Kinsmen, Kinettes and Lions Club during "Wheels for Scott McKewan Day" March 9 in Vermilion Bay. One week after the event, over 29 thousand dollars has been raised toward purchasing a new handicapped accessible van for Scott, a well known and recognized community volunteer.
Fun had by all! Kenora MP Greg Rickford and a player from the First Nations All-Star team get led away in cuffs following a scrap in the second period! Both received a cooling off period and the decision....depends who you talk to!
