The Youth Division Champs The Pelican Falls Timberwolves (Blue) from the Pelican Lake Pond Hockey Tournament held Feb 20 and 21 in Sioux Lookout.
Racers wanted to earn points for the UCMA Sno-X season standings, but a handful took home a shiny gold trophy too!

Lots of snow was flying at the Dryden Fairgrounds Saturday, as Sno-X 2010 came to town. The finals start at 10am Sunday, with hot laps. Racing starts at 11. Don't miss it!! See more photos on Flickr.
If you look carefully, you will see one sled tipped in the middle of the action. John Gavel took a dive, but quickly recovered. But in that tight starting group, he was just inches from being hit by another sled. Close one!!

Emergency crews race in to examine a Winnipeg racer who took an unbelievably nasty spill in Saturday's Sno-X races in Dryden. He regained consciousness having no idea what happened, but anxious to continue racing. Officials told him to take a break.
