A health care milestone for the Kenora-Rainy River District was reached on March 9th at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
Dr. John Porter gave Gary Rumpel of Kenora a ‘new knee’.
Gary is the 1000th patient to receive a knee arthroplasty through a Northwest Regional Tri-Hospital joint replacement program.

Show organizers have confirmed The United States Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt Eastern Demonstration Team will be performing at the Dryden Centennial Air Show May long weekend. The devastating A-10 Thunderbolt 11 (aka 'the warthog') will appear alongside the famous Canadian Forces "Snowbirds."

The Dryden Devils won the "B" side championship at the Kenora Atom tournament on the weekend of March 12th, great season kids!

The Northwestern Ontario All-Star Peewee Hockey team is off to the Provincial 'AAA' Championship after a 5-4 overtime win against the Thunder Bay Kings.
Dryden's Geoff Kitt scored twice, including the Championship winner.
8 members of the Dryden 'AA' Paperkings are on the team.
