Dryden Police stop a vehicle at King Street and Earl Avenue.
Officers searched the vehicle and found 120-grams of magic mushrooms and 6.5-pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $60,000.
Two B.C. residents were charged.

These pumpkins are no lightweights! A group of strapping young men gather around this Sumo-sized squash to heft it over the the scales in Dryden's annual Great Pumpkin weigh-off, hosted by Bob and Karen Nelson. The winning weight on Saturday afternoon was 250.5lbs, from 13 year old Dylan Woods.

They launched their own investigation and found the culprit.

Joe Barron and Lonnie Lundmark were crowned the 2010 Red Lake Fall Classic champions Sunday evening, with a two day total weight of 27.92lbs. They secured the win by just over a half pound. The win is the second major tournament win this year for Lonnie - who was also half of the winning team at the Dryden Walleye Masters in June. Congratulations!
