A feel good story at the Little Bands Native Youth Hockey Tournament.
Levi Beardy runs a church in downtown Toronto and he was in Dryden accompanied by hundreds of items of clothing and other goods for those attending the Tournament.
All of the items were trucked up from Toronto.
Safeway donated 400 bags and those attending the tournament were able to fill their bag for only 50-cents.
Beardy is originally from the Bearskin Lake-Muskrat Dam area and says he still has a heart for the north.
Beardy stresses he understands the needs of the north and isolation issues facing area First Nations.
He also handed out thousands of bibles for parents, kids and fans sponsored by the Canadian Bible Association.
