Brody Jennings tied the game on a 5-3 powerplay in the third period and scored the game winner with 14 seconds remaining in overtime to rally the English River Miners past the Dryden GM Ice Dogs 4-3 Wednesday night in Cochenour.
Dryden GM jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with Kris Hamlin scoring his first of the year and Tristan Simm recording his first SIJHL goal.
However, the Miners bounced back with goals ftom Nic Herringer and Michael Di Lullo in the second.
Wyatt Lawrence would once again give the Ice Dogs the lead before the Miners came back.
English River outshot Dryden GM 40-33, with 20-Miners shots coming on nine powerplays.
Meantime, Minnesota outlasted Fort Frances 7-6 in a shootout.
The game between Thief River Falls and Thunder Bay was postponed.
