Back To Back Shutouts For Ice Dogs

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs handed the Thief River Falls Norskies their second loss of the year and they did it convincing fashion Saturday night.

The Ice Dogs dominated the number one ranked team in the Canadian rankings 4-0.

Jacen Bracko scored a pair of goals, while Eric Stout and Malcolm Huemmert added singles.

Dryden fired 48-shots on the Norskies net, including 24 in the second period alone.

Jacob Gnidziejko stoped 36-shots for his first SIJHL shutout.

The win moves Dryden GM two points back of first.

Meantime, Jacob Siebenga scored the lone English River goal in a 5-1 loss to Thunder Bay.

Westin Cardwell made 34-saves for the Miners.

Fort Frances defeated Minnesota 6-2.
